Wound Care Physician at UNCHMG /UNC Wayne in Goldsboro, NC 

We are committed to providing quality and cost-effective medical care to a diverse population of patients with chronic medical conditions and special needs, therefore, we are seeking to add a Wound Care Physician to the team. The practice has two physicians and two APPs. Two hyperbaric chambers, a busy practice with full panel, hospital privileges and hospital consults. There will be no afterhours hospital call. 

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 730am-5pm and Friday 730am-1pm 

EMR: EPIC 

Qualifications and Required Skills 

• Graduated from an accredited Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy school 
• Wound Care experience and/or training required 
• Physicians with advanced training in wound management and hyperbaric oxygen therapy preferred 
• New trainees are welcome to apply 
• Board Certified or Board Eligible 

General Responsibilities 

• Debridement 
• Topical wound therapy 
• Growth-factor therapy 
• Tissue therapy 
• Dressing selection
