This is an outpatient/inpatient blended hematology/oncology position providing the full spectrum of cancer and benign hematology care. The role includes outpatient clinic, supervision of fellows and other trainees, oversight of an infusion center, and participation in the inpatient consult service at the Tibor Rubin VA Medical Center in Long Beach.

Supervise and teach hematology/oncology fellows (majority of learners) and residents from affiliated training programs, providing clinical mentorship and bedside teaching.
Engage in tumor boards and multidisciplinary conferences to support high-quality, coordinated, patient-centered cancer care for Veterans.
Participate in quality improvement and academic/teaching activities, with opportunities for clinical research depending on interests and service needs.
