Marshfield Medical Center - Rice Lake is seeking an Optometrist to join our team! The Optometrist is a skilled member of the allied health team who provides general optometric services to patients according to the philosophy and practice objectives established by Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS) and the Department of Ophthalmology. The Optometrist works independently, exercising sound clinical judgment and a commitment to customer focus, people orientation, system integration, and financial stability. The Optometrist demonstrates leadership and professionalism as a center citizen when acting as a representative of the MCHS and develops professional relationships within the community to promote and grow the practice.

Rice Lake, located in Barron County is northwestern Wisconsin, serves a regional area of approximately 50 miles radius. The city of about 8,000 has a stable economy centered around manufacturing and retail trade. The area school system provides students with an excellent educational experience. The district consists of six elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. Rice Lake is a popular summer resort area as well as a playground for those who enjoy swimming, boating, water-skiing, and fishing.
