Cary Orthopaedics Spine Center is looking for a talented Interventional Physiatrist or Pain Management Neurologist/Anesthesiologist to provide comprehensive spine and musculoskeletal diagnosis and care. Our offices are located in one of the country’s top-rated areas for growth and lifestyle. The selected candidate will demonstrate a high level of knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy and functional spine mechanics to accurately diagnose and facilitate the non-interventional recovery of patients with cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine disorders as well as general musculoskeletal joint dysfunction.
Job Duties and responsibilities:
Diagnose and facilitate the non-interventional recovery of patients with cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine disorders as well as general musculoskeletal joint dysfunction
Order and interpret diagnostic tests relative to patient's specific need
Office procedures including injections, and other non-surgical care
Work with Spine surgeons and Physical Therapy to deliver full range of care
Medical degree from an accredited medical school and completion of residency program
Current valid North Carolina physician MD / DO medical license
Board certification or eligibility with intent to certify required
Must have a Pain Management Fellowship
Current DPS and DEA certificates (or in progress)
1+ year MD experience preferred.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Exceptional patient skills and experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and demands
Travel is required between office locations. We offer a competitive salary and benefit package. Salary is based on years of experience and industry standards, to be discussed and negotiated.
