Urology Faculty Recruitment UROLOGY DEPARTMENT FULL-TIME ACADEMIC POSITION The Department of Urology at Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport and Louisiana State University Health Shreveport is seeking a BC/BE Urologic Oncologist to expand its full-time clinical faculty. The institution serves an expansive geographic area with a diverse population resulting in a wide breadth of genitourinary pathology. The faculty position will include patient care, as well as resident and medical student education. Candidates should be committed to academic medicine. The successful applicant will join several full-time faculty members, including an experienced Urologic Oncologist, in a fully-accredited Urology Residency Training Program (two residents per year). This position includes clinical duties and responsibilities at our tertiary Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport Academic Medical Center and at two affiliated teaching institutions. Multiple da Vinci Xi surgical systems (including a dual-console unit) are available for patient care and resident training. Review of applications for this position will begin immediately. Highlights of the Position: - Our health sciences center is home tothe School of Medicine, School of Graduate Studies and School of Allied Health Professions and a robust research enterprise. More than 800 students are enrolled in the degree programs at any one time. Additionally, over 600 residents and fellows are trained each year.

This position: - Emphasizes teaching and provides vitally important leadership and guidance to medical students and residents
