A well-respected and established multidisciplinary musculoskeletal practice is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, or Neurology trained Interventional Pain Management Physician for their Oahu, Hawaii office. Candidates must have excellent bedside manner, time management skills, and be looking for long-term employment in an outpatient clinical setting. The physician will provide comprehensive multidisciplinary pain management care and may supervise Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants. Position requires a variety of clinical and technical skills including coordination, workup, diagnosis, treatment, interventional procedures, and consultation with existing pain patients, moving towards procedural and pharmacological optimization. Clinic hours are 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Position offers a highly competitive salary guarantee with productivity-based incentives, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401k opportunities. Employee will receive three (3) weeks of paid time off and five (5) days of paid CME with reimbursement up to three thousand dollars ($3,000.00) per year. Clinic has an exclusive procedure room equipped with a Philips Pulsera Surgical C-Arm and is on the campus of a major hospital (Queen’s West). Preferable start date: February-March, 2021. Qualifications, Skills, Requirements and Education - Obtained an MD or DO degree and have completed an accredited residency and fellowship program in Interventional Pain Management
- Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for delivery of medical care
- Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards
- Knowledge of comprehensive medical evaluation, including diagnosis and treatment plans for patients in acute, chronic, cancer or other types of pain
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Must be credentialed per facility policies and procedures
- Licensure, registry required: State of Hawaii and Federal DEA Certification
