Outstanding Opportunity To Join A Well-Established Combined PICU/CVICU Practice Seeking an 9th BC/BE pediatric intensivist to join our team at Sutter Memorial Hospital in Sacramento, California. - The 20-bed PICU, (including 6 CVICU beds), has an average daily census of 15.
- There is a busy cardiovascular heart program with 150 - 180 pediatric cases, including neonatal, per year.
- In addition to full pediatric subspecialty support, the PICU offers ECMO, conventional and high frequency (oscillator, Jet and VDR) ventilation and iNO.
- The 45-bed pediatric ward is covered by our affiliated seven-member pediatric hospitalist group 24/7
- The ideal candidate will have training in both cardiac and ECMO and a very strong cardiac interest.
- Teaching opportunities are available with 4th year medical students.
