Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Registered Nurse \(Full Time, Day Shift\) to work for the Clinical Documentation Integration department at the Swedish First Hill Campus in Seattle, WA\.
The Clinical Documentation Integration Specialist is responsible for managing the improvement of the overall quality and completeness of clinical documentation through interaction with physicians, nursing staff, other patient caregivers and HIM coding staff\.
In this position you will:
Work to ensure the appropriate reimbursement is assigned for the level of service rendered to patients
Facilitate the accuracy and completeness of clinical information used for appropriate coding
Required qualifications for this position include:
Nursing Baccalaureate degree \(BSN\) from an accredited school of nursing or must actively pursue and attain a BSN within six years of hire
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington or a RN temporary permit
Current BLS and ACLS Certification
A minimum of four \(4\) years experience as an RN in an ICU or Emergency Department
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Nursing Baccalaureate degree \(BSN\) from an accredited school of nursing
