Retina Specialty Institute is seeking a board certified retina specialist with fellowship training. Position is full time, 5 days per week. The ideal candidate would be interested in a high volume medical and surgical retina practice, with the opportunity to be considered for a full partnership.
Retina Specialty Institute, founded in 1998, has been the dominant practice in Florida’s Gulf Coast for 20 years. Our Retina practice currently has 6 full-time MDs who practice in 3 states. Our offices are located in Florida, Alabama and Mississippi.
We are looking for a confident physician to step into a busy and well established retina practice. If your desire is to be very busy doing 100% medical and surgical retina work, then this is the opportunity you’ve been looking for. We are fully equipped for the most modern forms of medical and surgical retina care. We operate in physician owned ASC’s and in hospital settings. We are active in multiple clinical research areas, including surgical Retina equipment and treatments, and have a staff of full time dedicated research employees to assist our physicians in our multiple FDA trials.
This specific position is located in our Central Florida market. Your primary location will be Gainesville, Florida and you will time share The Villages clinic location with another Retina Specialty Institute physician. This market and these clinics are mature and growing. Gainesville isn’t like any other place in Florida. The combination of college-town vitality and protected natural beauty makes us one of a kind—a place “where nature and culture meet.” Gainesville offers 30+ miles of biking and hiking trails while spotting wildlife like birds, bison, wild horses or alligators in seven area Florida State Parks.
