Christiana Care Health Care System, headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware has an exciting clinical leadership position in the Primary Care Community Medicine Service Line (PCCM) for an Associate Clinical Director of Primary Care.
We’re searching for a BC Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Med Peds physician leader who is ready for an extraordinary career opportunity to be part of a Triad clinical leadership team reporting to the Clinical Director of Primary Care. Each Associate Clinical Director will have primary responsibility for one of three areas of focus but all will contribute to the achievement of goals in all three areas – clinical care delivery, clinical excellence and team-based care practice transformational. In addition to these leadership responsibilities, each Associate Clinical Director will have clinical oversight of several primary care practices and will maintain an active practice as a primary care physician.
The Associate Clinical Directors will be actively engaged in performance improvement, clinical delivery optimization, strategic planning, provider recruitment and retention, optimization of patient experience and eBrighthealth ACO. They may lead projects and will actively participate on teams and committees within the service line, as well as at the institutional level.. They’ll serve as the clinical leader and liaison between providers and PCCM and Medical Group leadership to ensure transparent communication and the achievement of organization strategic goals.
The Medical Group of Christiana Care provides primary care and specialty care in approximately 30 practice locations located throughout Delaware, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Our clinical teams serve a diverse range of patients and are staffed with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, behavioral health consultants, medical assistants and office assistants. Many of our locations offer labs and imaging.
Qualified candidates must be Board Certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Med Peds with at minimum three years of clinical work experience. Candidates must have excellent clinical, interpersonal and communication skills. Ideally, candidates will also have leadership experience that includes the ability to effectively lead teams to accomplish desired outcomes. Candidates must also have experience in provider recruitment and retention, practice operations and clinical care delivery optimization.
