The Minneapolis VA Health Care System is seeking a BE/BC physician to work in our Hospice and Palliative Care (HPC) program.
Our HPC Program consists of both inpatient and outpatient care, including a 10-bed palliative care unit, consultative services to the acute inpatient services, as well as outpatient consultation and clinical care.
The HPC team consists of other physicians, nurse practitioners, social workers, nurses, psychologists and chaplain services. We are an active participant in the HPC fellowship training program at the University of MN.
Requirements for this position include successful completion of a HPC Fellowship, interest in working in an academic setting, and demonstrated success in working in a team environment
Experience working in the field of HPC, and Board Certification in HPC are preferred.
We are seeking a full-time physician, but are willing to consider part time applications (to be combined to make a full time equivalent)
