Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI, is seeking a B.C/B.E. Pediatric Critical CAre. A successful candidate will join two board certified pediatric intensivist partners in a practice that promotes the mission of Gundersen Health System to distinguish itself through excellence in patient care, education, research and improved health in the communities it serves. This critical care practice is integrated within a dynamic pediatric department that delivers children’s health care in the model of patient and family-centered medical homes. Our critical care pediatricians staff a four bed PICU, provide sedation services and collaborate closely with fully staffed neonatology and pediatric hospitalist services in the delivery of a complete array of hospital-based pediatric medical care in our 325 bed community hospital. Our hospital is a new, state of the art facility that provides a supportive, child-friendly environment for our patients. We have a special interest in the ongoing development of our services for children with medical complexity living within the communities of our tri-state area. We encourage and support involvement in hospital leadership, quality improvement initiatives, and individual interest areas.
